Commercial HVAC Company

A 45-year-old HVAC company is selling its commercial division as a step towards retirement for the owner.  The business is well established, has a host of regular customers and an extensive customer list.  This side of the business (commercial) has been more of a value-added division.  It would greatly benefit from an owner whose interest is sharply focused on growing and servicing commercial accounts.  Anyone with an appropriate background and knowledge of HVAC would make an excellent candidate.  The company is highly profitable, generating over $300K in Seller’s Discretionary Earnings on just under $700K in revenue.  The asking price is $449K.

Commercial Cleaning Company

This 48-year-old Commercial Cleaning company is well established and relies on providing excellent service to its clients at competitive prices.  It is small enough to be manageable by a first-time owner and at the same time offers an excellent platform for an individual to grow the business into a much larger concern.  No particular skills are necessary as the owner will train; however, the ideal candidate will be well organized, committed to providing top-shelf service, and willing to manage and train employees.  Obviously, anyone with a background in facilities management or janitorial services is a plus.  The business is profitable to the tune of approximately $65K in Seller’s Discretionary Earnings with revenues of approximately $200K.  The asking price is $99K.

Metal Fabrication Company

This would be suitable for anyone with management experience, skills in metal fabrication, machining or welding.  It is a long-established company with six figure earnings on approximately $1.5M in revenue.  The asking price is $795K.  This business, while still technically for sale, is currently under contract.

Children’s Party/Play Establishment

This business is part of a franchise system.  The business creates a place of “open play” but most of its revenues are derived from booked children’s parties.  The parties include use of the facility (and all the inflatable attractions), catered food (pizza), games, etc.  The business and location are kept up very well and the attractions are all in good to excellent shape.  This business is reasonably priced and is suitable for anyone who can manage young employees and has general management potential.  It would also be helpful for this individual to have some mechanical abilities in order to conduct general maintenance and repairs on the air blowers or around the facility without having to subcontract.  This is certainly not necessary nor does the current owner have these skills.  The business is profitable and currently generates north of $50K annually in Seller’s Discretionary Earnings on about $350K in revenue.  The asking price for the business is $149K.
